This because I use the Arduino as a power source for the LED's also. This must be the easiest and cheapest way to make a light source the moment. The light source is a Arduino Nano and 6 NeoPixels. Of course it is also possible to make an diffuser out of paper or other thin material. If the light is still to strong, you can make the diffuser just a little bit thicker, like 3 layers for instance. The diffuser makes the light spread more and prevents the light shining right into you eyes. In my case I used 2 layers, making the flat diffuser 0,4 mm thick. The reason I use the flat one is due the fact I couldn't print the other one without warping and still only use one wall layer (but maybe someone els can do it:-) ). In the pictures you can see the flat one. One is printed in the “spiral outer contour mode” the other is just a flat plate that sits in the bottom on top of the LED's and Arduino. The dimensions are 60圆0x90mm printed in white PLA in this caseįor the inside I made 2 diffusers.
